Holy Days
Easter eggs and Christmas trees
are not why Jesus came
but if my neighbor speaks of these
Then I must speak His name

Tell them of the greatest gift
that ever I received
and of the cross that closed the rift
by blood when I believed

Our prayer that Christ is understood
and none would be deceived
God’s greatest gift will do no good
