A Million Plants

Made for man a million plants
to smell, to taste to use
a million “cans,” a single “can’t”
so much to have or lose

Yet somehow on a single day
seems paradise was lost
unbelief failed to obey
now their children pay the cost

Satan came with his suggestion
and the whole world was snake bitten
what was sweet, caused indigestion
and all life by death is smitten -id
