Two Sides of Salvation

Saving faith says “Yes,” and “No,”
as a thing with front and back.
Both by word and actions show
it’s not a feeling, but a fact.
As in a marriage we say “I do,”
and so all others do forsake;
in faith say “no” to evil,
and do good for Jesus’ sake.
Not to earn God’s favor,
nor to pay one cent my way
we show we love the Savior
when we trust Him and obey.
