In the womb may be a poet
a prophet, or a king
but you’ll never know it
unless you let it sing

Listen to the little voice
that calls out from within
both it and conscience are pro choice
saying “please let my life begin”
Love envies not, nor seeks its own
endures all for another
little thing, flesh, blood and bone
