Inner Space

The largest unmeasured realm of space
is not seen with eye or telescope
but something God breathed, full of Grace
of Faith and Love and Hope

Although the Universe is large
and none saw that expanse begin
The humble heart is larger
Once it asks the LORD GOD in

For it’s God’s own burning Presence
that so transforms the heart
with star-like possibilities
there causing dreams to start

A million billion burning suns
fill up the Milky Way
But none as bright as little ones
who kneel in faith to pray

or take God’s gifts as given
enjoying both nights and days
be it sun or moon light vision
giving back to God all praise-
