Life in Living Color

When you’re “in the pink”
you must be feeling well
But when you’re “in the red”
Your ledger sure will tell

If you’re “feeling blue”
or when your heart is “grey”
you need something new
Or a bright and sunny day

Green is sometimes ill
or envy’s ugly hue
Sometimes it’s a novice
Or someone who is “new”

Yellow is not brave
Sometimes it means a coward
Gold is what men save
so they can feel empowered

All’s not black and white
That’s why God made color
The color-blind’s not right
And their life is surely duller -id
