Having Lived in God’s Goodness

I have lived in many places
Crowded cities and open spaces,
but in God’s Word I’ve found what grace is
As I lived in the “Goodness of God.”
I’ve learned to live and be abased
and also to abound
With God’s help I’ve trouble faced
And in God’s goodness grace I’ve found.
In the flood and in the fire
I’m glad I understood
to live by faith was my desire
and God worked all for good.  -id
