Endless Wars

“But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies” (Ps. 44:9).  There is a big difference between a Route and a Rout. A Route is a way, and a Rout is a “panicked, disorderly and undisciplined retreat of troops from a battlefield, following a collapse in a given unit's command authority.” Jesus said there will always be the poor along with wars and rumors of wars. It’s the Roundheads against the Cavaliers, the Red Army against the White, the Hatfields against the McCoys.  A Public (Government) School Teacher saying the American Flag made her “feel uncomfortable,” encouraged her students to salute the LGBT gay Pride flag. This is war.  Perhaps America’s recent “Rout” began when she abandoned God’s Word and took another Route; the one “which seemeth right, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” So, unless you know another Noah who is building an Ark, or some Pilgrims fitting-out another Mayflower, we might want to reconsider the importance of the Kingdom of Heaven within you, and who reigns in our heart, as well as renewing our allegiance and loyalty to the King of Kings and Prince of Peace. Let not your hearts be troubled, in Christ there is a Great Calm, even in the eye of this storm.   -id
