Spirit-beings

I am an eternal spirit-thing

and Oh Yes, so are you.

This world is not our home

we are simply passing through.

We were made to live forever

and forever we will be

what we are now becoming,

we will be in eternity

'Tis true that we have flesh and blood

And live in time and space,

but we are much, much more than this.

We are also love and grace.

If, really, we believe this-

That this world is not all there is,

We would try to be like Jesus

And yield our will to His

For death is but a portal

As by faith, so is the cross;

and through that door each mortal

separates the silver from the dross
