I Told you so.

The crucifixion was foretold
but none could understand,
how lowly lead, could turn to gold,
and all the good God planned.
How what mean men meant for evil,
Our Lord would work for good.
As death would meet upheaval
and on Easter God’s Word stood.
And God’s Word stands forever,
food on which our faith is fed
Jesus will fail us never,
but do exactly what he said.  -id
