Advice to my younger self

If I could do it all over again -
I’d treat my foes more like a friend
I’d worry less and I guess
I’d try gratitude more to express.
I’d listen far more than I’d speak,
I’d try harder to help the poor and weak,
I’d live on less and give more stuff away,
and try to be God’s answer when I pray
for those in need.
I’d read music and play the notes,
and like David, dance for joy and sing;
in youth, sow more wheat, and less wild oats,
surrender sooner to Jesus Christ my King. - id
