Worship Service

In obedience to Christ’s command
a memorial He requested
a cup and loaf passed hand to hand
His New Testament bequest-ed

His earthly body in the bread
a picture of Submission
the wine, like blood, a crimson red
was shed for our remission
A table with the elements
is a sermon of Salvation
a sacred simple monument
remembrance n celebration

The death, the burial, and resurrection,
these indeed are facts
Before worship introspection
