In Him

In Him a light and stillness
like the eye within the storm
and the warm and gentle brightness
as the sunrise after dawn.
He is our strength and stronghold
and His presence brings us calm
and we like sheep within the fold
are safe from fear and harm.
In Him is all the fullness
of God’s wisdom from above.
His presence finds its witness
in God’s hallmark known as “love.” -id
