Work of Faith

Faith has feet needed to display
that God in fact has led the way
and through this world God’s Word does walk
and the Word of God is more than talk.

Faith has wings with which to fly,
a heart that sings  and the will to try,
and hands to take as well as  give
and ears to hear when God says “Live.”

Faith can stand when God says “stay.”
and wait until God shows the way.
Faith is faithful and will stand its ground,
and will triumph although martyr crowned.

Faith has arms and will the truth embrace
and do what God asks because of Grace.
Faith believes before the thing arrives
The world may crumble but faith survives. -id
