To Life!

We sow it, we grow it, we buy it,
show it. We read self-help books
and think that we know it.
We sell it, we tell it
and sometimes we yell it.
We find it, we mind it,
when wounded we bind it.
We sing it, or wing it,
we take or we bring it.
On flagpoles we raise it,
on good days we praise it.
We dance it or prance it,
If wise we enhance it.
We’ve one chance to live it
to love it and give it.
It’s our chance to choose it
to use it or lose it. -id
