The Beginning and the End
The Author and Creator
My Savior, Lord, and Friend.
He first conceived and thought me
and then with skill He wrought me
and filled with love the Lord above
came to this world and sought me.
Although I fell, I’ll gladly tell
Christ reached beneath and caught me.
Since this alone was not enough,
with blood the Savior bought me.
Now at His feet I take a seat
and heed all He has taught me
about His Father’s House above
where I’ll be because He brought me.- id
