In every great man there is this theme

and a trumpet song's refrain

it is the right to hope and dream

and trust in God's good name

Three gifts God gives: faith hope and love

and these shall last forever

three stars in the sky above

no one from us can sever

The winds of adversity can't blow it out

the flame that burns eternal

While waves, our faith may toss about

we fear no face infernal

The clouds may block the sun today

and skies be bleak tomorrow

But God will show his son someday

and drive away all sorrow
