Lost and Found

Zacchaeus climbed the sycamore
to see Jesus who He was
and he, who Christ was looking for
as the city was a buzz
a Publican though rich was lost
a wee child climbed that tree
knew not what salvation cost
when Christ climbed Calvary
But Christ bid he with haste come down
and he did with hope rejoicing
and one more sinner of great renown
faith with its tongue was voicing
he the sinner and Jesus Lord
and God’s love won that day
what he stole would be restored
proving the lost had found the Way. - id
