I Believe

I believe in the God of the Bible
the maker of heaven and earth
the God of my faith and survival
the giver of life from my birth
I believe every word He has written
seen not by the mighty but meek
the sure cure for all the sin-bitten
the hope and the strength of the weak
I believe every jot and each tittle
of God who’s Eternal and speaks
no promise too big or too little
for every word spoken He keeps -id
