Abundance

God made the sun and then the moon
then called time - morning, night and noon
tilted the earth to give it Spring
the Good Lord thought of everything.

So man could find here all he needs
soil and water, both land and seeds
wheat to eat and flax to wear
gold to trade and herbs for care.

Hid in hills and leaves on trees
on mountain tops and beneath the seas
all that man would ever need
to clothe, to build, to heal, to feed.

If man would only look around-
all that’s needed may be found,
but then look up from what we take
and thank the Lord for goodness sake- id
