The closest thing to Heaven ever held within our hand
rays of light and stardust from a holy Beulah land
burning hot with power and roaring like the sea
the Bible, Ark of covenants, for all eternity
Every jot and tittle standing faithful in its place
quick and sharp and powerful, a witness to God's grace
every word is breathed by God, His word alone is truth
the only weapon ever formed to break the dragon's tooth
A single word so precious, wonderful and wise
its faintest sound or whisper can make our spirit rise
It is the Word, God's Logos, books like it, there are none
