One Man
God is looking for a man
God is not looking for the wealthy or the wise
But rather for the willing
for His great enterprise
Not for armies or legions, or masses of men
But for one who says
by God's good grace "I can"
Not by power or by might moves
God's holy work on High
But through one willing heart
Who dares to say "I'll try."
One willing to be made
willing
is all that heaven needs
To do mighty works and miracles,
To bring mankind to its knees
The Greatest work begun
this side the Crystal sea
Starts with a willing heart
and the cry of one "Send me."
We be but earthen vessels, Lord
to the brim with heaven fill.
The door of Joy and Victory
swings on the hinge "I will."
