What Happened in Church
 
I found in church a challenge,
a chart and clear set course
abounding faith and hope and love
a  power and a force
 
I  heard a word that resonates
that tuned my heart to grace
the will of God that designates
sets broken bones in place


I felt God’s  healing Spirit
and the Master’s gentle  touch
and a  hand unseen to bear it
when a weight  just  seemed too much
 
I remembered Christ my Savior
at a place that God had set,
His death and life’s behavior,
and that He is not finished yet. 

I met with God in unity
where once I was estranged
a sacred shared community
of those salvation changed.   -id
