Sincere

every single sin we sin
has a awful price to pay
better if we don’t give in
in light of judgment day

Forgiven doesn’t mean sin’s free
nor excuse our unbelief
nor grace invite a sinner’s spree
that ‘s  sure to end in  grief

Jesus died on the cross to save
the sinner from his sin
and make us see what love God gave
and what a fool we’ve been

be not deceived, God is not mocked
what the farmer sows he reaps
Though Jesus died, this law is locked
sin’s consequence man keeps

Every sin shall leave a scar
though we ourselves made well
and saved,  ask not how “near” but “far”
our heart  should live from Hell.
