Isn't it very strange and odd

that men insist on playing God

and on their heads they place a crown

while on their face they wear a frown?

and stranger still and cause for wonder

is why they always choose the thunder

with all the things there are above

they never seem to choose his love

Playing God is a dangerous game

as foolish children with matches learn

He who calls down fire in God's name

may their own careless fingers burn
