God - a consuming fire
And His Book a burning flame
The fire burns on Sinai
Moses found God’s bush of fame
fire on the candlestick
And on Mountain Carmel’s peak
Fire made to cure the sick
when the holy prophets speak
fire in the wilderness
And on the Emmaus road
refiners glowing furnace
And the hearth in man’s abode
fire of the upper room
and a lake which burns the most
one of judgment coming soon
one of filling Holy Ghost
