Moses died in Moab
Very close to Edom
After seeing Cannan
Gazing down at freedom
No longer bound as slaves
In Egypt’s iron chains
God’s children free to praise
For God still lives and reigns
In the year Uzziah died
harps played a minor chord
Israel wept and Israel cried
Then Isaiah saw the Lord
Jesus near Moriah died
At first his followers wept
But then arose the crucified
His promises are kept
