Better Thinking

Philippians 4:8-9

Whatsoever is of “good report.”
Think, my soul, upon these things,
things that lift the heart and spirit,
give praise to God with angelic wings.
“Whatsoever things are true,”
and don’t forget what’s “pure” and “just,”
and of all God said you can be sure
that His every promise you can trust.
Fill thy thoughts with all that’s “lovely,”
look for virtue, and it you’ll find;
remember how much that Jesus loved thee,
and that peace with God is peace of mind. -id
