Table Song
a table in the wilderness (Ps. 78:19)
Not to a tomb, but to a table draw
One speaks of Grace, the other of law
One speaks of Sorrow, Death, Pain and Sin
The Table, of Life, we now share with Him
Not to a tomb, but to a table free
We’re drawn by Grace to God’s family
We humbly come, gladly take our place
We’ll talk of Him and Amazing Grace
Not to a tomb, but to a table come
Remember now the Ever-Living One
In love we gather around the Lord
As saints we worship in one accord
We take simple tokens, bread and cup
We bow our hearts as we lift them up,
By Grace through faith hold salvation free;
We remember Him who said, “Remember me.”
We remember Him who said, “Remember me.”
