Shiloh

Jer. 7:12

Visit Shiloh,  sift the ground
not a trace of grace is found
gone is God, and all His glory
yet, penned for us, presumption’s story.
Eli and his son’s grace wasted
even though God’s good they tasted
pretentious going "through the motions"
leading Israel in devotions.

But their hearts were far from heaven
thus is God’s warning in Jeremiah Seven.  -id
