Hand on Me

A Hand to bless upon my head
Lord, place thy Hand on me;
and by thy Hand may I be led,
may I thy servant be.
Thy Hand too on my shoulder felt
to comfort and to guide;
that Hand that helps and points the way,
the Hand that will provide.
The Hand of blessing, a mighty hand
that protects, defends His own;
the Hand that drew Salvation’s Plan,
that will greet me, “Welcome Home.”   -id
