Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight oh LORD

A picture can be worth a thousand words.

Although the great cathedrals of Europe with their flying buttresses are beautiful, true worship is simple and requires a soul seeking God in spirit and in truth.

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob.

Faith in Jesus Christ means to trust in, adhere to, and rely on. To, in, and on describe a relationship, not a religion.

Jesus Christ, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah

For all those things has my hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word. Isa 66:2
Isaiah described the Lord Jesus as a babe. In other places he is described as
the Lamb of God. Jesus is also the one who will judge the quick and the dead.
John said if all the things that Jesus did during his lifetime were
written into books, the world would not be large enough to contain it.
Our own life is a journal and story of our brief journey.
Our story will have a happy or sad ending depending on
what we do with Jesus and what we allow Him to do with us.
Pilate wrote on an inscription at the head of the cross
"this is Jesus." It is impossible in space and time
to (with finite words) write "This is Jesus" and do
justice to Him, whom to know is
life eternal.

Servantship may not be a word but it should be. I see each day as a journey I shall take with God. I look forward to living through it, learning from it, laughing and loving in it, and leaving a legacy after it that brings the most glory to Him. I will set the inner compass of my convictions with the true moral north of God's eternal word. Integrity will be the needle that points the way.I will remember the cross of Christ. I will remember that he who gives the most lives the most. Therefore, today, I will try to give. I will set my affections on things above, follow God's word and speak the truth in love. I will look today for the good in others and rejoice in what I find. I will not speak ill of any and try to never be unkind. I will measure success not in money, or in numbers, nor in size, but in the trying, for life is something we do and each one gains who tries. I thank God for the chance to choose. I choose to kneel and know His grace, to pray and seek His face, to serve and find my place in faith and obedience. I choose to try, and fail or succeed, to learn from each experience. I choose to chance the open sea of today's posibilities rather than remain safely moored to the docks of yesterday's triumphs or defeats. I choose to risk the ship to deliver the goods, to reach the goal, to help one person or save one soul,
and leave it all to providence.
